Hawaii’s Pu’u O’o vent within Kilauea volcano and the areas around it in Volcanoes National Park, have been erupting continuously for 23 years. From these vents, rivers of molten lava make its way to the sea, creating new land. Hawaiian legend believes Madame Pele, the goddess of fire, is still present in the area.
These lovely hand made tiles are the sole creations of artists from the Hawaiian Islands. You can hang these on your wall using the convenient keyhole in the backing of your tile or for practical purposes use as a trivet to place hot dishes or pots on.
