Plumeria is a fragrant flower used most commonly in flower lei making. The velvety flowers range in color from white and yellow combinations to deep pink with a cerise center. This beautiful glass blown paper weight embodies the essence of the plumeria in its theme. Throughout the long history of glassblowing, skilled men endured tremendous heat and used simple tools to shape beautiful forms from the fire. Our talented local artist uses the same ancient techniques to create this plumeria paper weight, inspired by the natural beauty of Hawaiian flora. The plumeria, or Frangipani, is featured in this one of a kind hand blown piece.
