Authentic Hawaiian petroglyphs are recreated in clay and decorate our finely hand crafted koa boxes. These symbolic rock carvings are found throughout the islands and depict events in the Hawaiian culture. The fishermen of old Hawaii were an important part of the Hawaiian culture, fish being an important staple in their diet. The box itself is fashioned from beautiful koa wood found only in Hawaii, and has been painstakingly carved and sanded into this precious keepsake.
