The term "raku" is derived from the Chinese character meaning enjoyment or ease. Our local artist has created these dramatic but practical coasters for your personal enjoyment. Each absorbent coaster is decorated with Hawaiian petroglyphs. Petroglyps are images recorded on stone by ancient people. These images have been found in many caves throughout the Hawaiian islands and depict particular interests in their lives. Each set comes wrapped in fresh t-leaves and tied with wraffia, containing a set of two coasters, approximately 3.5" in diameter. A perfect gift for those who love Hawaii.
